“Waste Heap Discovered Near Bradford City Stadium”

Published on

An unauthorized waste heap weighing 7,500 tonnes has been discovered near a former Premier League soccer stadium. Startling aerial photographs reveal a mix of household and commercial refuse spread out over a 50-meter stretch of land in Bradford. This unsightly mound is situated across from Valley Parade, the residence of League One club Bradford City. The matter was brought to light by locals two weeks ago when a strong odor of decay emanated from the area during the recent hot spell.

The Environment Agency has initiated an inquiry into the waste ground and is actively seeking out those accountable. Notably, remnants of an articulated lorry and corroded containers can be observed at the location adjacent to Midland Road in Manningham. An undisclosed resident reported witnessing unfamiliar trucks accessing the area and discarding waste there. They recounted how the issue surfaced during the heatwave, causing an overpowering stench of spoiled food and trash that necessitated keeping windows and doors shut.

Local representatives expressed strong disapproval towards the situation, labeling it as a blatant disregard for the community and the environment. They emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of illegal waste disposal in Manningham, asserting that such practices have no place in the area.
