Wolf Alice has been announced as one of the performers at the upcoming BRIT Awards in February. The band will share the stage with Olivia Dean and Harry Styles on February 28 at Manchester’s Co-op Live, marking the first time the awards ceremony will be held outside of London.
Comprising Ellie Rowsell, Joff Oddie, Joel Amey, and Theo Ellis, Wolf Alice has garnered three nominations this year, including Group of the Year, Alternative/Rock Act, and Mastercard Album of the Year for their fourth studio album, The Clearing, which achieved chart-topping success upon its release last year.
Expressing excitement about their BRIT Awards performance, bassist Theo mentioned their anticipation for the event, outfits, fellow performers, and post-show celebrations. The band also disclosed their upcoming summer performance at Finsbury Park on July 5, supported by various artists. Additionally, they are set to headline the Tramlines Festival on July 26 alongside other notable acts.
The public voting for Song of the Year with Mastercard and International Song of the Year will commence tomorrow at midday GMT through WhatsApp, as part of the BRIT Awards’ collaboration with Meta. Fans can vote daily until February 13 by sending a WhatsApp message or visiting the BRITs WhatsApp channel or social media platforms for further details.
