Authorities are seeking assistance in locating a pair of missing £1,000 Louis Vuitton trainers belonging to a 21-year-old man who was reportedly kidnapped and later found dead.
Jack Sullivan, a resident of Waltham Abbey, Essex, was allegedly abducted on June 22 and subsequently assaulted, according to Essex Police. He was discovered severely injured in a Cheshunt car park in Hertfordshire and succumbed to his injuries on June 26.
In connection with the murder inquiry, detectives are on the lookout for Jack’s distinctive blue Louis Vuitton footwear, valued at approximately £1,000.
Additionally, investigators have shared an image of a black Mitsubishi Outlander believed to have been utilized in the kidnapping, which has been recovered. They are continuing to seek information from the public.
Three individuals have been apprehended on suspicion of murder and subsequently released on bail under certain conditions, according to police reports.
Detective Chief Inspector Greg Wood, leading the investigation, stated: “We believe Jack was forcibly taken and transported in a black Mitsubishi Outlander displaying the registration HY16 FZR – although this is not the vehicle’s genuine license plate.”
“The vehicle was reported stolen from an address in Loughton on June 3, and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen this vehicle between June 3 and June 23 when it was abandoned in River Close near Fishers Close in Waltham Cross. Any sightings of the vehicle on that day are also of interest to us.”
“We are also seeking assistance in locating Jack’s missing Louis Vuitton blue trainers, which remain unaccounted for.
“These trainers are valued at approximately £1,000, and we suspect that someone may be either wearing them unknowingly or attempting to sell them.”
Mr. Wood emphasized: “The primary focus of this investigation is to provide closure for Jack and his family. We are committed to finding answers, and I urge anyone with relevant information about the Mitsubishi Outlander or the missing blue Louis Vuitton trainers to come forward.”
