An 18-year-old identified as Maliki Sharma from Feltham passed away after a violent stabbing incident on Monday, according to authorities.
The Metropolitan Police responded to reports of a stabbing on Victoria Road, Feltham, around 5 pm. They, in conjunction with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance Service, found the victim with multiple stab wounds. Despite efforts by medical personnel at the hospital, the individual succumbed to the injuries.
Following the tragic event, Maliki’s family is receiving support from specialized officers. Two 16-year-old boys have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder and carrying an offensive weapon. The arrests were made within a day of Maliki’s death, and the duo has been released on bail while detectives conduct further investigations.
Authorities are actively pursuing various leads, and residents might notice heightened police presence in the area for the next few days. In a separate development, a 19-year-old man named Rhys Huskinson from Feltham was arrested in connection with an assault allegation. He has been charged with affray and possessing an offensive weapon. Huskinson is scheduled to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 15 January, for allegedly assaulting a 16-year-old boy during the Monday incident.
