Quiz Clothing to Close All 37 Stores by June

Published on

Clothing retailer Quiz is set to shut down its remaining 37 stores by the end of June, as confirmed by administrators. The company cited a challenging start to 2026 and enlisted the help of administrators from Interpath in February. The closure plan will be executed over the upcoming weeks, with three stores in Castlecourt, Belfast, Leeds, and Romford already closed recently.

The exact closing dates of the remaining stores have not been disclosed, and the impact on the workforce remains unspecified. Quiz faced a second administration within a year, having previously collapsed in February 2025 and then acquired through a pre-pack deal by a Ramzan family subsidiary. The administration doesn’t affect Quiz concessions in New Look and Matalan stores.

To clear the remaining stock and pay off debts, administrators are offering significant discounts of at least 60% in stores. Alistair McAlinden, the head of Interpath in Scotland and joint administrator, urged shoppers to take advantage of the closing down sale. Geoff Jacobs, managing director at Interpath and fellow joint administrator, commended Quiz staff for their dedication during these challenging times.
