Hours after his appearance on the finale of Britain’s Got Talent, judge KSI has revealed his departure from the YouTube phenomenon The Sidemen. In an emotional video, he expressed the difficulty of his decision, stating that after much contemplation, he has chosen to cease producing Sidemen videos, with May 31st marking his final contribution to the group.
Reflecting on his lengthy tenure with The Sidemen, KSI acknowledged the significant role the group played in his life for over a decade, describing them as a second family. He reminisced about their shared experiences, from humble beginnings creating random videos and playing GTA to achieving remarkable milestones like selling out arenas and stadiums, producing Netflix shows, and setting records.
Emotionally, KSI highlighted the bond forged with his fellow Sidemen members, witnessing their personal growth into fathers and husbands. He expressed deep gratitude for the journey they embarked on together, emphasizing the positive impact the group had on his life.
Regarding his departure, KSI, also known as Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, clarified that his decision was entirely personal and not due to any negative events within the group.
