A significant emergency response is currently ongoing in North Yorkshire following reports of an individual in distress in the River Wharfe, according to eyewitnesses. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was seen landing near the river in Burnsall village, just north of Skipton, around 7pm on Sunday. Yorkshire Ambulance Service and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service are also at the scene.
