A young man, aged 20, is in critical condition after being stabbed in central London. The Metropolitan Police responded to an assault on Lupus Street in Pimlico, near Tate Britain, shortly after midnight on Thursday. The victim was rushed to the hospital with stab wounds.
Law enforcement confirmed that no arrests have been made yet, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend the perpetrators. A police spokesperson assured the public that efforts are underway to identify those responsible for the attack.
As a result of the incident, a significant area has been cordoned off, leading to the closure of multiple roads. Pimlico Station was temporarily closed for approximately five hours, as per reports from My London. Transport for London announced the closure at 2:45 am and later confirmed the station’s reopening at 7:50 am.
