The England national team is set to enjoy an evening out in Florida before they depart for their World Cup training headquarters. Following their upcoming friendly match against Costa Rica, manager Thomas Tuchel intends to grant the players some time off. This break will allow captain Harry Kane and the team to unwind together and spend quality time with their families who have already arrived in the United States.
According to a source, the team will have the opportunity to relax and bond before their journey to Kansas. Notably, England WAGs are also traveling to the States to support the team. Kane, accompanied by his wife Kate, was spotted at the team’s training base in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where Kate shared a post expressing feeling “recharged” after a rigorous training session in challenging weather conditions.
Family members of the players, such as Mark Bellingham and Noel Scott, have made the trip to the US as well. The families were encouraged to vacation with the players in the same time zone before the team convened for training. Despite some Arsenal players receiving extended leave due to the recent Champions League final, they are expected to join the squad before their departure to the training base in Kansas City.
Additionally, girlfriends of players like Bukayo Saka and Chelsea captain Reece James are slated to attend the games. Former England manager Gareth Southgate, who was recently involved in a charity event, expressed optimism about the team’s prospects, highlighting their resilience and determination to excel in the tournament. Southgate emphasized the team’s collective belief in their ability to reach the later stages of the competition and eventually secure a championship title.
