Jake Hall’s family has shared their feelings following the unique funeral for the former TOWIE star who passed away recently at the age of 35. The reality TV personality turned fashion designer tragically lost his life after an accident at his rented apartment in Majorca, Spain, following a night out with friends.
The funeral, held last week, was a vibrant event that included an afterparty following a church service attended by his TOWIE co-stars and other notable figures such as Boxer Derek Chisora, the Thomas brothers, and his ex-partner Chloe Lewis.
The wake, hosted in Shoreditch across three floors, featured a curated experience showcasing a fashion installation, an art exhibition of Jake’s original paintings, live performances, and a club night. The event, held at Unlocked Shoreditch, owned by Jake’s brother Sonny Hall, aimed to honor Jake’s passion for the creative industry.
The tribute event highlighted Jake’s iconic 137 hoodie and showcased his original artwork. The night concluded with DJ sets and live performances from friends like Maverick Sabre, Tom Grennan, and The Kooks, drawing attendees from various creative spheres.
In response to questions raised about the event, Sonny Hall, speaking on behalf of the family, stated that they wanted to give Jake a farewell that reflected his vibrant personality and achievements rather than a somber affair. He emphasized Jake’s impact on others and expressed pride in his legacy.
Earlier in the day, a traditional funeral service was held, drawing a crowd outside the church. Notable attendees included James Argent, and David Beckham’s mother and sister, Sandra and Joanne Beckham. Chloe Lewis, Jake’s former girlfriend from TOWIE, also paid her respects.
Chloe expressed her profound feelings for Jake in a heartfelt tribute on social media, reminiscing about their relationship since they were teenagers. She praised Jake’s creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and musical talent, affirming her enduring love and admiration for him.
The tribute concluded with a message from Sonny Hall, representing the Hall family, emphasizing their commitment to continuing Jake’s legacy through art and charitable endeavors.
