Elderly Woman Suffers Head Injuries in Preston Dog Attack

An elderly woman sustained severe head injuries following a dog attack on a residential street in Preston. Police have apprehended a man and confiscated two canines after the incident on Lily Grove around 3:55 pm last Saturday.

Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and discovered the woman with significant bite wounds to her head. She was promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention. Lancashire Police disclosed that two dogs were taken into custody, and a police cordon was established for further investigations.

A 42-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control and was held in police custody as inquiries progressed. Authorities have urged the public to provide any relevant information to help determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.
