Sienna Miller has unveiled the initial photos of her recently born child alongside her partner Oli Green. The 44-year-old actress disclosed her pregnancy with her third child in December, gave birth in May, and has now showcased the heartfelt moments leading up to the birth of her baby.
Accompanying the post with the caption “Adulting,” she posted a picture of herself in bed with her protruding belly displayed, seemingly just before delivery. In another image, her boyfriend Oli, known for his role in The Crown, was captured in tears as he cradled their child shirtless, providing the newborn with skin-to-skin contact. Sienna was also seen embracing her newborn in a hospital bed, with additional photos in the post depicting the young family adapting to life after childbirth.
Supportive fans rushed to shower the star with love, with Celebrity Traitors star Paloma Faith responding to the “Adulting” caption by saying, “Don’t be silly you are a teen mum like me! Round three here toooooo!” Cat Deeley commented, “Gorgeous,” while Laura Whitmore praised her with, “Well done mama xx,” and Sadie Frost simply stated, “Lovely.”
Announcing the birth of her child, Sienna informed E! News: “It’s happened. I have a tiny baby next door.” Sienna also has a 13-year-old daughter named Marlowe with her former partner Tom Sturridge, and a two-year-old daughter whose name has not been publicly disclosed with Oli, who is 29.
Reflecting on her experience, she expressed, “It feels like stringing sentences together is a bit challenging. I’m on very little sleep but I’m madly in love with my baby.”
Sienna previously revealed that motherhood in her 40s has been more manageable compared to her first time when she gave birth to Marlowe. She shared with Glamour magazine, “Having had a baby at 29, and then having a baby at 42, and now 44, it’s so much easier when you don’t have the conflict of feeling scattered and like you want to be doing X, Y, Z.”
She added, “If I’m in bed at 9 p.m. with a book, I’m so happy now. And now I’ve got the excuse to do it. Life is in a more grounded space.”
The actress had made the decision to freeze her eggs at the age of 40, noting, “I’d invested what felt like the important years in something that was just a bucket with a hole in it of a person.”
Sienna emphasized the importance of time and self-discovery in her journey towards motherhood, highlighting the shift in her perspective as she aged.
