Princess Kate, 44, conquered the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales – Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon – in just 24 hours to raise funds for the hospital where she received treatment.

Diagnosed with cancer in March 2024, Princess Kate underwent chemotherapy at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, West London. Expressing gratitude in a post, Princess Kate thanked everyone who supported The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Her brother, James Middleton, also took to Instagram to express his immense pride in her achievement, recalling their conversations about overcoming challenges while she was in the hospital. Kensington Palace noted that Princess Kate may be the first royal family member to complete this expedition, showcasing her dedication to raising awareness and funds for cancer care.

Princess Kate, who disclosed her remission status last year, collaborated with the Royal Marsden to create a fundraising platform for holistic care initiatives at the London hospital. In a pre-challenge video, she spoke about her personal connection to the cause and the importance of acknowledging the ongoing efforts in cancer care across the country. Emphasizing the significance of holistic healthcare, she highlighted the need for comprehensive support to manage the multifaceted challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

Upon reaching the summit of Snowdon, Princess Kate was warmly welcomed by her family, including Prince William, their children, her parents, and her brother James. Dame Cally Palmer of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust expressed immense gratitude for the generous support that will benefit numerous cancer patients and their families.
