Katie Price recently opened up about her ongoing emotional struggles stemming from her separation from former husband Peter Andre almost two decades ago. The duo initially met during their participation in the reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in 2004 and exchanged vows the following year. They share children Junior and Princess Andre and parted ways in 2009.
In a new documentary titled Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, the 48-year-old former model reflected on their past romance, expressing that her inner self has not been the same since their breakup. She nostalgically described their relationship as a fairy tale but acknowledged that things took a sour turn without a proper discussion before their divorce.
Despite featuring some of her ex-partners in the documentary, including Dane Bowers and Gareth Gates, Katie mentioned that Peter would not be part of it. She confessed that the lack of closure with Peter has taken a toll on her mental well-being over the past two decades, leaving her constantly searching for a similar connection.
Katie and Peter captivated fans with their love story, starting during their time together on the reality show. They later starred in their own series on ITV, which ended following their separation. Peter chose not to participate in Katie’s new project, stating his decision was to safeguard their children’s interests and maintain a peaceful co-parenting relationship with Katie.
After their split, Peter found love with Emily, marrying in 2015 and raising three children together away from the public eye. On the other hand, Katie has been married three times post her relationship with Peter, recently surprising everyone with her marriage to Lee Andrews earlier this year.
