US fitness influencer and looksmaxxer Connor Murphy, aged 32, tragically lost his life in Thailand due to drowning. The sad news was initially reported on July 7 and later confirmed by his friends in heartfelt posts on social media on July 8.

Reports from local authorities revealed that police responded to a call at a residence in Bang Phli around 3 pm on July 7 after witnessing a man behaving erratically before entering the lake. Following a thorough search, divers located Murphy’s body approximately 20 meters from the shore.

Although investigations are ongoing, initial assessments suggest that Murphy’s death resulted from drowning, as there were no signs of physical assault. A security guard at the upscale estate where Murphy rented a property disclosed that he witnessed Murphy sprinting before plunging into the lake. Murphy swam until exhaustion overcame him, leading to his disappearance beneath the water’s surface. The lake’s depth was reported to be 10 meters.

Having resided in a property valued at £493,000 in Bang Phli for three months with his 22-year-old girlfriend, Murphy had built a significant online presence as an influencer, focusing on fitness and looksmaxxing content, where individuals undergo extreme transformations to enhance their appearance.

With a social media following of nearly three million, Murphy often referred to himself as a ‘giga chad,’ a term denoting a man in peak physical condition. His final post, shared on July 3, showcased a video of his makeshift golf course on his Thai property.
