Brooklyn Beckham Celebrates Independence Day Amid Parent’s Anniversary

Published on

Brooklyn Beckham and his spouse, Nicola Peltz, were seen together at a pool party coinciding with his parents’ wedding anniversary. Pictures shared on Nicola’s Instagram showed Brooklyn holding ice creams aloft with a smile, while wrapping an arm around his wife. Brooklyn sported a cowboy hat and a white and red top, while Nicola donned a white bikini top and low rise shorts.

The couple posed in front of a pool adorned with inflatables featuring the American flag and red, white, and blue balloons, indicating the celebration of America’s Independence Day on July 4th. In her caption, Nicola hinted at the occasion, stating, “Last weekend was so fun.”

Although July 4th marks Independence Day in the US, it holds a special significance for David and Victoria Beckham as their wedding anniversary. The renowned couple tied the knot on July 4th, 1999, commemorating their 27th year of marital bliss this year.

While Brooklyn marked Independence Day, his parents took to social media to express their love for each other and their children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. Victoria shared a sweet photo of herself kissing David’s cheek, expressing, “After 27 years of marriage, four amazing children and countless matching outfits, you’re still my everything. Happy anniversary!! I love you so much.” David posted a throwback picture from their wedding and added, “29 years together, 27 years married & you have given me everything I could ever wish for. Our proudest achievement will always be our family. I love you & Happy Anniversary.”

Reports suggest that Brooklyn felt upset by his parents’ posts, even though he had blocked their accounts last year, wishing they would respect his privacy. In late December 2025, Brooklyn reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to his parents through legal representation, requesting they refrain from mentioning or tagging him in their social media content.

The tension between Brooklyn and his parents surfaced in early 2026 when Brooklyn claimed that they had exerted control over him and exploited their children to enhance the “Brand Beckham.” Despite David’s recent visit to the US, where Brooklyn resides, for World Cup promotions, the father-son duo did not meet. Brooklyn humorously addressed this absence in a DoorDash advertisement, hinting at a “long story” behind his nonattendance at the World Cup events.
