Welsh singing sensation Bonnie Tyler, famous for hits like Total Eclipse of the Heart, has passed away at the age of 75. She died after undergoing emergency intestinal surgery in Portugal and spending time in a coma.
Her family and team confirmed the sad news on her website, expressing their heartbreak over her unexpected death. Bonnie, born Gaynor Hopkins, rose to fame after being discovered in Swansea in 1975. Her breakthrough came with the song It’s A Heartache in 1977, followed by the iconic Total Eclipse Of The Heart in 1983. Throughout her career, Bonnie continued to tour and record music, maintaining a strong fan base across Europe.
