Security camera footage has captured the shocking moment when a car went out of control, soared through the air, and crashed into the side of a house where a 70-year-old woman was inside watching TV.

Miraculously, the elderly Australian woman emerged unharmed from the terrifying incident involving a car crash.

The video from a neighbor’s CCTV cameras shows a Holden Commodore, also known as a Vauxhall VXR8 in the UK, veering off the road, launching into the air, and landing on the roof of a house in Perth, Western Australia, causing damage to the guttering and patio awning.

Despite the significant airtime the car achieved during the crash on Wednesday night, most of the destruction occurred on the side of the residence.

The homeowner, speaking to Perth’s 9News, recounted watching TV when the chaotic event unfolded at her doorstep.

Following the crash, a 22-year-old woman reportedly fled the scene but was later apprehended by the police at a nearby residence. She faces charges of dangerous driving and failing to provide information to the authorities.

The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment. Court proceedings are scheduled to take place at the Midland Magistrates Court in the future.
