Victoria Beckham was filled with pride as she joined her family to mark the launch of her newest fragrance, Portofino ’97, in New York. The former Spice Girl, now a renowned fashion designer at 52, was captured at Caffe Paradiso in New York for the exclusive debut of the perfume inspired by her memorable Italian trip with David, two years before their marriage.
During the event, Victoria, also known as Posh Spice, shared a touching moment with her son Romeo and daughter Harper before gathering the family for a group photo. Notably absent from the family gathering was Brooklyn Beckham, the aspiring online chef.
Both Victoria and David exuded elegance and sophistication, while their children opted for a more casual look in t-shirts paired with jeans or shorts.
Victoria is expected to miss Mel C’s wedding to Chris Dingwall to support David at the upcoming World Cup final. After England’s defeat in the semi-final against Argentina, David appeared visibly upset. Fans worldwide flooded social media with comments after Cruz Beckham was seen giving his father a comforting hug.
One observer remarked, “Beckham close to tears and consoled by Cruz was the most heartwarming sight.” Another commented on the wholesome nature of the hug between David and Cruz.
Brooklyn has consistently remained silent at family milestones, including his sister’s recent 15th birthday. Notably, he skipped their family Christmas last year for the first time in over two decades and also missed David’s 50th birthday celebrations. He has not acknowledged Victoria’s career achievements, birthdays, or even David’s knighthood from King Charles.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn, who is married to Nicola Peltz, publicly criticized his parents for their role in his upbringing, claiming they controlled the family narrative and mistreated his wife. He expressed no desire to reconcile with his family and requested privacy.
Despite initial sympathy for his Instagram rant, Brooklyn faced backlash for his recent DoorDash advert, where he joked about his family feud. The advert, for which he reportedly received a large sum, was perceived as distasteful by fans who felt he was exploiting his family name.
According to reports, a family insider expressed shock at Brooklyn’s advert, highlighting the insensitivity of joking about family estrangement while claiming to seek peace and privacy.
