An upset passenger onboard a Ryanair flight to Ibiza recounted a chaotic situation involving unruly behavior, including a couple entering the restroom together.
The traveler expressed concern upon arriving at Dublin Airport last week, observing two groups of seemingly intoxicated individuals causing a disturbance.
She detailed the escalation of the situation during the flight, with one group of young men and another of older men and women. Despite warnings from the flight attendants regarding their behavior, both groups were served alcohol throughout the journey, as reported by Dublin Live.
The passenger mentioned that despite warnings, the younger group persisted in playing loud music and drinking. She described witnessing a young girl visibly shaken and another woman extremely agitated due to the disruptive noise.
According to her account, a shirtless man and a young woman entered a restroom together, emerging to applause from fellow passengers. She also mentioned a young girl offering to arrange hookups on the flight and the incident of a shirtless young man and a girl being found in a compromising situation in the restroom.
Additionally, she recounted an incident where a young man in front of her made inappropriate advances, causing her to intervene and mention that her husband was present, diffusing the situation.
Upon landing at Ibiza Airport, paramedics and police greeted the aircraft. The passenger reported that the shirtless individual from the restroom and two others from the disruptive group were attended to by medical and law enforcement personnel.
A Ryanair spokesperson responded, stating that the crew sought police assistance after two passengers displayed disruptive behavior inflight. Despite being denied alcohol service by the crew, these passengers continued to consume their own alcohol purchased before boarding. The disruptive individuals were removed from the flight upon landing at Ibiza Airport.
