Beloved television star Lisa Kudrow, known for her role as Phoebe Buffay on the iconic show “Friends,” recently shared a remarkable experience involving her late mother. In a conversation with actress Mayim Bialik, Lisa recounted a series of strange events that occurred after her mother, Nedra Stern, passed away in 2020.
Following her mother’s death, Lisa described how various family members and even her husband experienced unusual incidents that seemed to be messages from her mother. These occurrences included alarms going off inexplicably and mysterious text messages appearing on phones.
One particularly eerie incident involved Lisa receiving a text message that seemed to be from her mother, with the word “MOM” written in capital letters multiple times. Initially dismissing it as a technical glitch, Lisa later realized the significance of the messages, especially when her friend pointed out that her mother was reaching out from beyond.
In another instance, during the Covid lockdown period, Lisa found an unexpected “XOXOXO” message on her phone while texting a friend, a signature her mother was not known for. Strangely, the next day, Lisa’s father discovered an old letter from her mother with the same XOXO sign-off, bringing a sense of connection and comfort to Lisa.
These incidents have left Lisa reflecting on the possibility of receiving messages from her late mother, creating a sense of mystery and wonder surrounding the afterlife and the bonds that transcend it.
