The south-east might see temperatures hitting 36C on Friday, maintaining above 30C across England, signaling another heatwave.

Scotland and Northern Ireland are expected to have peak temperatures in the low to mid-20s, while parts of Wales may reach 29-30C. Temperature anomaly maps indicate a significant rise in temperatures above the seasonal average throughout the UK next week.

The Met Office anticipates a hot weekend in the south, with Monday likely to be dry and very warm. Towards the latter part of the week, there is a chance of frontal systems or thundery spells affecting southern and eastern regions, with temperatures remaining above average, especially in the south.

The BBC suggests that notable warmth is expected next week, particularly in England and Wales, potentially exceeding 30C in some areas. Although not as intense as recent heatwaves, temperatures are likely to be above average, with Scotland experiencing more seasonal conditions at times.
