Derry Girls actress Jamie-Lee O’Donnell has recently shared that she has cut ties with her family. The 39-year-old star, known for her role as Michelle Mallon in the Channel 4 sitcom, has been transparent about her therapeutic journey, describing it as challenging and profound.
After successfully completing therapy, Jamie-Lee acknowledged that it prompted significant changes in her relationships, leading to a decision to cease communication with her family. During a podcast conversation with hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett OBE, she reflected on her therapy experience, stating that it compelled her to seek a fresh start for herself, symbolized by selling her house and moving to Barcelona.
