National Rail has issued a warning about significant disruptions to rail services in Greater Manchester, the Midlands, and the North West of England.

The disruptions stem from an electrical failure at a communications center, resulting in train cancellations, delays of up to one hour, and rescheduling of services.

Affected train operators include Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, London Northwestern Railway, Northern, TransPennine Express, and Transport for Wales.

National Rail anticipates that the disruption will persist until the end of the day.
