Following the withdrawal of Nira Dookeran from Ottawa, the Green Party of Canada now has only one candidate vying for leadership.

In a statement on the party’s website, Dookeran cited personal and family reasons for her decision to step back from the race after careful consideration.

The Green Party of Canada expressed gratitude towards Dookeran for her participation and commitment to the leadership race.
