A tragic traffic accident has resulted in the loss of four lives and left five individuals injured following a major collision early in the morning.
Disturbing images from the scene depicted the aftermath of the incident, which involved the destruction of two vehicles on a peaceful residential street. The crash, believed to have included a car and a taxi, occurred around 12:45 am in Deane, Bolton. The front of a Citroen C4 Picasso was severely damaged, with distressing photos showing the mangled bodywork and the right doors of the vehicle torn off.
The Citroen collided with a red Seat Leon, with the impact ripping off the bumper and tearing apart the right side of the vehicle. Photographs from the location captured a significant presence of law enforcement and emergency services, with the road sectioned off for investigation.
According to Greater Manchester Police, two 18-year-old men and a 19-year-old man lost their lives in the Seat car. Authorities also confirmed the death of the Citroen’s driver, a man in his 50s.
A police representative stated, “Five injured passengers have been hospitalized and are currently receiving treatment. The area remains sealed off as investigators work on the case.”
“The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for witnesses to come forward, especially those with information on the vehicles’ movements before or during the crash, or possessing dashcam/CCTV footage of the incident.”
The severe collision resulted in extensive damage to the black Citroen C4 Picasso, leading to tragic fatalities among the occupants of the involved vehicles. The authorities swiftly cordoned off the crash site as emergency responders rushed to the scene.
