“Video Shows Teens Speeding at 122mph Before Fatal Crash”

New alarming video footage has captured the moment a vehicle carrying three teenagers who tragically perished in a devastating head-on collision was seen racing through a residential area at a staggering speed of 122mph.

The harrowing video, recorded a day prior to the fatal crash on January 11 that claimed the lives of three teenagers and a taxi driver, depicts the interior view of a car speeding down a road, overtaking other vehicles by dangerously cutting through the middle of the street. The driver can be observed reaching speeds exceeding 120mph, nearly double the legal limit in the UK.

Authorities are investigating the origins of the clip, suspected to have been filmed by one of the teenagers involved in the fatal Bolton crash where they and a taxi driver lost their lives.

The deceased teenagers, identified as Jibrael Mukhtar, 18, Muhammad Danyaal Asghar Ali, also 18, and Farhan Patel, 19, were reportedly inside the same Seat Leon captured in the footage on January 10 around 3am. Less than 24 hours later, at 12:54am on January 11, the vehicle collided with a Citroen C4 Picasso on Wigan Road, resulting in the fatalities of the trio and the 54-year-old taxi driver, Mosrab Ali, who was also present in the Citroen.

Five other passengers sustained injuries in the crash and were swiftly taken to the hospital for treatment. Police are currently working on confirming the identities of the victims while providing support to their families through specialized officers.

Relatives of the taxi driver, Mr. Ali, described him as a compassionate individual, with his daughter expressing disbelief at the tragic event. The three teenagers were identified by the Bolton Council of Mosques.

A close friend of one of the teenagers criticized the video, labeling their reckless behavior as “stupid” and “crazy,” causing immense pain to one of the fathers. Detective Inspector Andrew Page from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit emphasized the ongoing efforts to fully understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Authorities are urging the public to refrain from sharing sensitive content on social media out of respect for the affected families. They commended the swift response of emergency services at the challenging scene and encouraged any witnesses or individuals with relevant footage to come forward and assist in the investigation.

For any information related to the incident, individuals can contact the authorities directly or provide anonymous tips through the charity Crimestoppers.
