The mother of a young child who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in a popular Greek tourist destination has shared her beliefs about what may have transpired with her son.

Ben Needham vanished on July 24, 1991, while playing near a rundown farmhouse owned by his grandparents on the Greek island of Kos. Despite extensive searches, the 21-month-old toddler was never located, leading to various speculations. One prevailing theory suggests he was accidentally crushed by a digger driver and buried.

However, Kerry Needham, Ben’s mother, rejects this theory and instead puts forward her own hypothesis. She suspects that her son was abducted by a human trafficking syndicate. Speaking from her residence in Antalya, Turkey, she mentioned receiving an email from a woman who believes her boyfriend may be Ben.

While noting several curious coincidences and inconsistencies in the man’s past, Kerry remains cautious due to limited information about him. She has shared this lead with the South Yorkshire Police, who are collaborating with Greek authorities in the investigation. This new perspective diverges significantly from the family’s initial assumption that Ben was taken care of by locals.
