Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, known as Little Saint James, was portrayed as a tropical paradise but was allegedly a site of dark activities according to his accusers. The 75-acre property, unofficially dubbed “Paedophile Island,” was where Epstein faced accusations of exploiting and assaulting minors, using his private plane, known as the “Lolita Express,” to transport them to his estate in the US Virgin Islands.

Epstein purchased the island in 1998 for $7.95 million and developed it with a stone manor, guest lodges, a pool, a temple, a helipad, and panoramic ocean views. Despite hosting affluent guests, the island became infamous for its alleged involvement in child exploitation, human trafficking, and orgies during Epstein’s ownership.

Reports suggest that Epstein continued to bring underage girls to the island until shortly before his 2019 arrest. Despite being a registered sex offender since 2008, Epstein served only 13 months of an 18-month sentence before returning to his lavish lifestyle.

Following Epstein’s death, the FBI conducted searches on the island, now valued at over £45 million. Victims like Sarah Ransome and Chauntae Davies have come forward with harrowing accounts of abuse they endured on the island, leading to legal actions against Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Witnesses at the airport in the US Virgin Islands claimed to have seen Epstein with young girls regularly, raising concerns about his activities. Maxwell, convicted of aiding Epstein’s crimes, is currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking after spending time in federal prison.
