Mexican cartel operatives are on the hunt for an OnlyFans model they suspect provided crucial information leading to the capture of El Mencho.

Following a bold operation that resulted in the death of Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, the notorious leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), it is believed that Mexican authorities leveraged his romantic connections. Allegedly, Cervantes’ associates in the cartel are targeting an OnlyFans model named Maria Julissa, whom they believe played a role in his apprehension.

Despite denying any involvement to her sizable Instagram following of 3.5 million, Maria Julissa has been publicly accused by loyal followers of Cervantes, who claim she betrayed him. A banner displayed in CJNG’s stronghold of Zapopan branded her as a traitor, directly implicating her in the operation.

Mexican officials revealed that a tip from a close confidant of Cervantes’ partner, not the partner herself, was pivotal in the plan to capture him. General Ricardo Trevilla Trejo disclosed that information from this confidant led to the location where Cervantes was ultimately apprehended.

In response to the accusations, Maria Julissa vehemently refuted any involvement through a statement on social media, urging against spreading unverified content and emphasizing the dangers of misinformation. Despite national media outlets pointing fingers at her, the woman directly linked to Cervantes has not been officially identified.

Cervantes met his demise while en route to Mexico City, engaged in a shootout with special forces personnel after being pursued into a wooded area near Tapalpa. The operation resulted in his death, with two individuals arrested, triggering widespread unrest across various Mexican regions.
