Police have made a heartbreaking discovery in the search for a missing woman. Carol Hillier, aged 64, disappeared over three weeks ago in February from Sandy, Bedfordshire. She was last seen near The Old Anchor Pub in Sutton, Cambridgeshire, on Sunday, February 15 around 11 am, according to authorities. The police have confirmed the recovery of a body from the river at Sutton Gault, near Ely, as part of their efforts to locate Carol.

Although formal identification is pending, the police have notified Carol’s family about the finding. Investigators focused on searching water bodies and overgrown areas near where her silver Mercedes E Class had been parked. A spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Police expressed sadness over the situation, stating that officers had found a body in the river at Sutton Gault on Sunday.
