Women Press UK Authorities for Interview with Andrew’s ‘Second Victim’

Published on

Women who were victims of Jeffrey Epstein are calling on UK authorities to speak with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s alleged ‘second victim’ following confirmation that police are examining multiple sexual abuse allegations. This potential step could increase pressure on the former royal, who has been accused by two victims of the disgraced financier. The development coincides with Andrew’s recent appearance at Sandringham, Norfolk, after facing accusations of public misconduct earlier this year.

Before her passing, Virginia Giuffre accused Mountbatten-Windsor of assaulting her in various locations, including London, New York, and a private Caribbean island. Despite her claims, he has consistently denied any wrongdoing. Additionally, Johanna Sjoberg, 43, has come forward with allegations of inappropriate behavior by the former Duke of York. Sjoberg testified that she was touched inappropriately by Mountbatten-Windsor at Epstein’s Manhattan residence in 2001, with Giuffre reportedly present during the incident.

British authorities are considering engaging directly with Sjoberg to ascertain her observations and any information she may have received from Giuffre regarding events in London. This initiative follows Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley’s recent trip to the US, where he affirmed ongoing reviews of a broad range of allegations linked to Epstein and his associates.

Reports suggest that Sjoberg has become a focal point of renewed interest following the disclosure of nearly three million redacted US Government files related to Epstein. These documents have already led to the arrests of Mountbatten-Windsor and Peter Mandelson on public office misconduct suspicions.

In a recent statement, a 39-year-old Epstein victim, who was acquainted with Sjoberg, encouraged authorities to reach out to her for insights into Mountbatten-Windsor and Giuffre. She commended Sir Mark’s actions, emphasizing the importance of listening to survivors and pursuing justice without bias.

Sir Mark has emphasized the significance of accessing unredacted evidence held by US officials, which he believes may be crucial for future legal proceedings. The ongoing investigation also encompasses allegations of public office misconduct involving Mountbatten-Windsor and Peter Mandelson, both of whom deny any wrongdoing. Investigators believe that essential evidence remains concealed within extensive US case files associated with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

The focus has returned to the sexual abuse allegations, specifically those outlined by Sjoberg during sworn testimony in Giuffre’s defamation case against Maxwell. The case has gained urgency following Giuffre’s death, prompting Sjoberg to speak out about her experiences and the need for accountability.

Epstein’s death in 2019 and Maxwell’s subsequent conviction have further fueled calls for transparency and justice in light of the disturbing revelations surrounding the case.
