A fire incident occurred at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, resulting in a man sustaining injuries in the emergency department. The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) responded to the blaze on the ground floor after receiving a call before 6.45pm on Wednesday. Approximately 20 personnel and four pumping appliances were deployed to the scene.
According to NIFRS reports, the man was hurt in the restroom fire and is currently receiving treatment for burns, as per information from BBC News NI.
