Police have apprehended a woman following the tragic deaths of two young boys, aged one and three, in a house fire in Wolverhampton. The woman, in her 30s, is currently under custody as investigations unfold regarding the fire that occurred on Mason Street around 8:30 pm on Friday. Despite swift advanced life support efforts by ambulance medics at the scene, the children could not be saved.
The two boys were pronounced dead at the scene, while two other children and a woman managed to escape the house before emergency services arrived and did not require medical attention.
