Lara from the popular TV show Gogglebox has captured the hearts of viewers with her engaging presence. The show, which has been on air since 2013, has introduced audiences to various memorable families across the UK, such as Giles Wood and Mary Killen in Wiltshire and the Siddiqui family in Derby.

In the latest season, Gogglebox added new members to its cast, including Jake and Calum from Glasgow, the Gordon family from Surrey, and married couple Andrew and Alfie from the Cotswolds. Among the new faces were Sara and Lara, a mother-and-daughter-in-law duo from Yorkshire, who quickly gained popularity for their humorous commentary on TV shows.

Interestingly, Lara’s younger brother is the well-known TV personality and adventurer Bear Grylls, famous for his survival-themed shows. Lara, who works in PR, was the one who named Bear when he was just a week old, a fact he shared in an interview with The Guardian.

In a display of her adventurous spirit, Lara participated in an open-air ice-swimming fundraiser in 2021, raising an impressive £23,000 in less than a month. Bear Grylls showed tremendous support for his sister throughout the challenge, highlighting their shared love for ice swimming.

Fans were surprised to learn about the sibling relationship between Bear Grylls and Gogglebox star Lara, with many expressing their disbelief on social media platforms. Beyond her TV appearances, Lara is a devoted mother to three children named Mungo, Bevan, and Tallulah, whom she shares with her late husband, James Fawcett, who tragically passed away in 2025 due to a sudden cardiac arrest.
