Beverley Callard Updates Fans on Breast Cancer Battle

Published on

Beverley Callard has provided an update on her health following her disclosure of battling breast cancer. The renowned Coronation Street star initially noticed symptoms while participating in I’m A Celebrity… South Africa last September, ultimately being advised by doctors to withdraw from the competition.

In a recent video on Instagram, the 69-year-old shared that she was feeling exhausted after celebrating the news that she could proceed with radiotherapy. She mentioned feeling drained after indulging in a few glasses of champagne, leading her to rest early.

Expressing her current state, Bev wrote, “Just a little update… feeling good, but super tired! Can’t handle the champers like I used to!” Fans showed their support in the comments, urging her to prioritize rest and recovery.

Beverley disclosed her cancer diagnosis in February, revealing the heartbreaking timing just before starting a new TV series. Despite the cancer spreading to a lymph node, she recently expressed gratitude as tests showed low aggression levels, allowing her to start radiotherapy soon.
