Football for Peace recently held its annual “Rehydrate the Earth” Water Gala at CÉ LA VI in London, uniting celebrities, sports figures, business leaders, and environmental advocates to raise awareness about the global water crisis.

Among the attendees was the elegant Tamzin Outhwaite, who shared updates on her personal life, expressing her enjoyment of single life while also hoping to find a long-term partner in the future. Outhwaite mentioned her reluctance to participate in reality TV dating shows like Celebs Go Dating, emphasizing her preference for privacy.

Having separated from her partner Tom Child in 2024 after a six-and-a-half-year relationship, Outhwaite described their split as amicable, stating that they had transitioned into a friendship.

The event, emceed by Nick Ede, saw the presence of notable personalities such as British Airways CEO Sean Doyle, Princess Katrina of Former Yugoslavia, and football icons like Paul Dickov, Michael Chopra, Oumar Niasse, and Alisha Lehmann.

Additionally, NFL players Efe Obada and Jason Bell, along with other celebrities like Andrea McLean, Denise Van Outen, Derek Chisora, and Joel Corry, graced the occasion.

Andrea McLean, who departed from Loose Women in 2020 for new ventures after serving as an anchor for 13 years, shared her nervousness about being back in the public eye ahead of the release of her upcoming book, “Shameless.”

The event supported Football for Peace’s “Rehydrate the Earth” initiative, focusing on water restoration, youth education, and environmental resilience, with funds raised aiding groundwater recharge projects in Rajasthan, India, and youth river restoration programs in the UK.

Highlighting the ongoing global water crisis, guests were reminded that billions of people lack access to safe drinking water, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation efforts.

Football for Peace Co-Founder Kash Siddiqi stressed the power of sports in inspiring action and unity, with the gala featuring moving speeches and a fundraising auction to support projects in the UK and India.

The evening aimed to raise awareness and financial support for vital water-related initiatives, urging collective action to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable practices.
