Former England soccer player Andy Carroll has entered a plea of not guilty regarding a charge of violating a non-molestation order involving his former wife, Billi Mucklow, a reality TV personality known for her appearances on “The Only Way Is Essex.” The 37-year-old athlete, who previously played for Newcastle and Liverpool, denied the accusations during a recent court hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court, where a trial date of January 18, 2027, was scheduled.
Carroll, who participated in the hearing via video link wearing a checked shirt, was charged with allegedly breaching a court order by making numerous calls to Ms. Mucklow without a valid reason in March of the previous year. The prosecutor, Philippa Page, mentioned a scheduling confusion that led to Carroll and his legal team missing the initial hearing.
Following Carroll’s formal plea of not guilty, Judge Mary Loram KC adjourned the case for trial early next year while granting Carroll bail. The athlete expressed gratitude at the conclusion of the proceedings. For more updates on celebrity news, follow Mirror Celebs on various social media platforms for the latest showbiz updates.
