At the inception of this personal computer, nobody could have anticipated the immense success that this brand would achieve, with Apple now standing as one of the largest corporations globally.
Initially focusing solely on computers, Apple has since diversified its offerings, producing iconic products such as the iPod, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
The team at The Verge has been polling its audience to determine Apple’s greatest hits, with results that may surprise some. Unsurprisingly, the original iPhone, launched in 2007, clinched the top position. This device has evolved to become Apple’s most popular product, facilitating communication, entertainment, contactless payments, and photography through its integrated cameras.
During the iPhone’s debut, Steve Jobs elucidated, “An iPod, a phone, and an internet communicator… are you getting it? These are not three separate devices; this is one device, and we are calling it iPhone.”
Securing the second spot is the iconic iPod, which captured worldwide attention in 2001. It revolutionized the way people listened to music, boasting the promise of “1,000 songs in your pocket.” Before its advent, most individuals were burdened with carrying bulky tape or CD players.
Apple terminated the iPod range in May 2022.
