Apple has introduced AppleCare One in the UK, expanding its service to cover multiple devices under a single subscription plan. Priced at £16.99 per month, AppleCare One protects up to three eligible devices, such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches, offering repair or replacement for accidental damage, loss, or theft.
This new subscription enhances the existing AppleCare+ benefits by allowing customers to consolidate coverage for various products into one plan. Users could save up to £11.48 monthly by bundling protection for an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch under AppleCare One instead of purchasing separate plans for each device.
A notable advantage is the flexibility to add devices up to four years old to the plan, surpassing the usual 60-day limit for AppleCare+ enrollment after device purchase. AppleCare One also simplifies upgrades, automatically transferring coverage to new devices when trading in and purchasing replacements through Apple.
Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, emphasized the customer-centric approach of AppleCare One, providing a streamlined and adaptable protection solution for UK customers.
