Broadcaster Rod Liddle, aged 66, has passed away following a brief illness. The sad event occurred at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough on Sunday night. Liddle was known for his role as the editor of BBC Radio 4’s Today show and as the host of BBC 2’s Weekend and BBC Four’s The Talk Show.
He was also recognized for his participation in the TV show Come Dine With Me alongside Edwina Currie, Derek Hatton, and Brian Paddick. In recent times, Liddle was a respected columnist for The Sunday Times and The Sun.
Liddle’s children, Wilder, Tyler, and Emmy, expressed their deep sorrow over the loss of their father. They praised his inquisitive, brave, and humorous nature, highlighting how he remained strong and positive even during his recent hospitalization.
