A British soldier’s girlfriend has provided an important update following her partner’s severe injuries in a quad bike accident in Greece that resulted in him being put into a coma.

Ethan Jones, 21, an Army Reservist from Bradford, sustained significant injuries in the incident on the island of Rhodes when the quad bike he was riding collided with a bollard. He was vacationing in Greece with his girlfriend Olivia Allsopp when the crash occurred.

Although the exact details of the accident are unclear, Olivia has shared that Ethan’s condition is slowly improving in the hospital. She mentioned that doctors are gradually reducing the medication keeping him unconscious, and his oxygen levels have been lowered from 50% to 40%, indicating improved breathing.

Ethan is currently in a coma with serious head injuries and is receiving emergency care. Olivia has initiated a fundraising campaign to cover the costs of bringing Ethan back to the UK, which has raised approximately £23,000 so far.

Olivia updated that Ethan has been transferred to an ICU in Crete, and she is striving to reach the hospital to be with him. She expressed gratitude for the support and prayers received, highlighting the severity of Ethan’s injuries and urging for continued thoughts and support.
