The 32-year-old vocalist made waves recently by posting a close-up image of her hand on Instagram, minus her wedding ring. In response to a follower’s inquiry about the missing ring, Cher curtly stated, “It’s in the bin.”

Subsequently, the mother has been hinting at her marriage breakdown on social platforms, sharing messages about following one’s instincts.

While neither Cher nor her husband Craig Monk have officially commented on the separation, friends of Craig have expressed disapproval of Cher’s actions, labeling them as attention-seeking and unfair.

One anonymous friend conveyed to the Daily Mail, “She’s evidently been fixated on photographing her hand for the past few days. It appears to be a plea for attention.”

They further criticized Cher’s statement about discarding her wedding ring as highly disrespectful, emphasizing the permanence of online actions. The friend suggested that a mature conversation should precede public announcements.

The friend added that Craig’s main focus is on their daughters, emphasizing that he is coping well and prioritizing his children above all else.

Cher and Craig got engaged in January 2012, less than a year after meeting when he styled her hair. Their encounter occurred when Cher, aged 20, faced paparazzi outside and Craig helped her escape through the back, leading to their initial meeting.
