Liam tragically passed away in 2024 at the age of 31 after a fatal fall from a balcony, prompting Cheryl to keep her son away from the public eye.
Taking to Instagram, the ex-X Factor judge shared heartwarming pictures of her visit with Bear to Walt Disney World in Florida. She expressed her delight, stating, “Somewhere in the corners of the world Magic still exists. I don’t know what took me so long to experience the joys of @waltdisneyworld but I completely escaped into my inner child for the last couple of weeks. What a wonderful place.” Fans flooded her post with supportive messages, showing their happiness to see her enjoying herself.
Accompanied by Liam’s sister, Ruth Gibbins, along with Ruth’s husband and son, Cheryl and Bear were seen enjoying various attractions like Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania!, and the Floating Mountains of Pandora in Animal Kingdom. Observers noted Bear’s growth and how he seemed to resemble his late father, with many pointing out similarities in their mannerisms.
In line with her commitment to protecting Bear’s privacy, Cheryl ensured that her son’s face remained hidden in all the shared footage. Liam’s untimely death in 2024 was confirmed to be due to polytrauma, resulting from multiple traumatic injuries. Bear was born in 2017, a year after Cheryl and Liam began their relationship following their meeting on the X Factor.
