Kaleb Cooper has shared his thoughts following a poignant moment on the show Clarkson’s Farm where he was visibly emotional. The 27-year-old farmer was captured on camera with Jeremy Clarkson when he found out about Clarkson’s diagnosis of prostate cancer.
Kaleb, who gained fame after joining the popular Amazon series as Jeremy’s assistant, mentioned that he recently met the former Top Gear presenter and is scheduled to meet him at Cereals, the prominent arable event in the UK held at Diddly Squat farm.
In a statement, Kaleb mentioned, “I saw him today, and I’ll see him at Cereals, and he seems to be in good spirits, which is a positive sign. It was undoubtedly a moving episode for viewers to watch. It’s fresh news, so emotions are understandably high.” Kaleb emphasized the importance of offering support to Jeremy during such challenging times.
Discussing the farm’s operations with farm manager Charlie Ireland and farmhand Kaleb, Jeremy revealed his health update abruptly, stating, “I’ve been diagnosed with cancer since May. I had a biopsy done, and it’s an aggressive form, but luckily it’s in its early stages.”
Towards the end of the season finale, Jeremy, speaking from a hospital bed, disclosed facing complications during treatment. He mentioned, “The season started with me in a hospital bed, and now it’s ending the same way. If everything goes well, I’ll be back for season six, and if not, then not.” Jeremy signed off, saying, “Take care, everyone.”
