Coleen Nolan Reveals Strictly Come Dancing Setback

Published on

Loose Women personality, Coleen Nolan, has revealed that despite finding a new romantic partner, she won’t be participating in Strictly Come Dancing anytime soon. Nolan believes that someone within the show’s production team may not favor her, as she has not been invited to join the dance competition, although all other Loose Women hosts have been. She clarified that her exclusion is not due to judge Craig Revel Horwood, whom she admires.

Expressing her desire to partake in Strictly Come Dancing, Nolan shared that the opportunity has always been on her wishlist but has not materialized. She suspects that there may be a specific individual who is not keen on her involvement. Despite this setback, Nolan, a seasoned reality show contestant, remains optimistic, especially since meeting her new beau, referred to only as ‘Ryan,’ which she credits for improving her hip condition.

Having triumphed on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017 and excelled on Dancing on Ice in 2009, Nolan reflects on her past relationships with Shane Richie and Ray Fensome. She humorously mentions that if asked to play “snog, marry, avoid,” she would choose to avoid her ex-husbands but would happily snog and marry Ryan, the current love interest in her life.

While engaging with fans at her solo show in London, Nolan also discussed her recent experience on Celebs Go Dating, where she found a new partner. Despite personal successes, she voiced concerns over ITV’s budget cuts affecting her work on Loose Women, a show she has been part of for 26 years.

Reflecting on the show’s history and notable guests, Nolan expressed a superstition about the show being ‘cursed’ due to the unfortunate events following some guest appearances. However, she emphasized the strong bond she shares with her Loose Women colleagues, dismissing rumors of any off-screen conflicts.

Nolan also showed support for her fellow TV personality Ruth Langsford amid Langsford’s publicized split from Eamonn Holmes. Praising Langsford’s strength and resilience, Nolan commended her colleague for handling the situation with grace.

Despite her television accomplishments, including her role on Loose Women and The Nolans, Nolan shared that her most significant achievement was the 2018 ITV special The Real Full Monty: Ladies’ Night, which won an Emmy award. The show highlighted the importance of cancer awareness and left a lasting impact on viewers.

Prioritizing her family above all else, Nolan expressed her deep love and gratitude for her children and grandchildren, emphasizing their importance in her life. Shane Richie’s son, Shane Jr., also made an appearance, humorously addressing his father’s recent legal issues and sharing his decision to use the surname ‘Nolan’ instead of ‘Richie’ for professional purposes.
