Alan Carr has been on a whirlwind since his victory on “The Celebrity Traitors” last fall, with a flood of work offers keeping him incredibly busy. Among his recent projects is an Amazon Prime comedy travel series called The F***It List, where he and three other comedians test out popular bucket-list experiences. Additionally, he is working on a Disney documentary series called Castle Man, showcasing his move to a grand Scottish estate, and he has also joined ITV’s popular series, The Masked Singer.

The 50-year-old comedian is now splitting his time between his new life at Ayton Castle, located in the Scottish Borders, and his various filming commitments. Despite some misconceptions, Alan clarifies that the castle is his permanent residence, not a hotel project. He is excited about the community activities and plans for the castle, which will include filming for his series.

Alan recently announced a unique glamping experience on the castle grounds, inviting guests to enjoy luxury bell tents, sauna sessions, and guided movement classes. He emphasizes the community-focused nature of his plans, which will include events like comedy nights, carol singing, and more.

Having purchased the castle earlier this year, Alan is still adjusting to life in the grand estate, having grown up in the suburbs. He is in the process of selling his former home in West Sussex to finance further developments at Ayton Castle. Despite his busy schedule with TV projects, Alan is looking forward to more renovations and adventures at his new fairytale home.
