Ukrainian authorities investigating corruption within President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office have revealed a probe into senior officials. This development emerged following the dismissal of the country’s defense minister, who called for national elections amid the ongoing conflict with Russia’s invasion. The investigation, led by Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, aims to uncover a criminal network involving current and former lawmakers and high-ranking presidential office members.

President Zelenskyy has not publicly addressed the investigation but has removed Iryna Mudra from her position as deputy head of the president’s office through a decree.
