A new channel has recently launched on Freeview, providing viewers with additional entertainment options that were previously only available through premium TV services like Sky and Virgin Media. TLC, known for its reality shows and movies, is now accessible to Freeview users at no extra cost.
TLC features popular reality programs such as Dr Pimple Popper and Say Yes To The Dress, along with a diverse range of content including sitcoms and blockbuster films. Freeview subscribers can now enjoy hit shows like The Big Bang Theory, Mock the Week, and Young Sheldon, as well as blockbuster movies like Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
To access TLC, viewers can tune in to channel 12 on Freeview, although some households may need to perform a retune to receive the new channel. Alongside the TLC launch, there will be a minor reshuffling of channels, with Quest moving from Ch12 to Ch17 and Really relocating from Ch17 to Ch44.
Unfortunately, Freeview has announced the closure of HGTV, resulting in the removal of programs like My Lottery Dream Home, Celebrity IOU, and Building Alaska. Other channels being discontinued include God TV and India Today.
The channel changes are as follows:
– New Channels:
– TLC – Ch12
– TLC+1 – Ch99
– Channel Moves:
– Quest – Ch17
– Really – Ch44
– Channel Closure:
