Her mother revealed the traumatic past of being in a relationship with Huntley at a young age, leading to Samantha’s birth before escaping his abuse. Huntley, who has a history of violent incidents in prison, was previously attacked in 2010 and 2018. The latest assault is suspected to have been carried out by Anthony Russell, a convicted murderer, who allegedly proclaimed responsibility for the attack. Russell, serving a life sentence for multiple heinous crimes, including murder and rape, has not been officially confirmed as the perpetrator by authorities conducting the ongoing investigation into the incident.
